Project Details
Formed on 28 November 2008, CCURV, has been actively engaged in promoting regeneration in Croydon, in particular:
Bernard Weatherill House (BWH)
Building work started on 16 March 2010 to construct the BWH; 240,000sq. ft. of office accommodation for Croydon Council and a range of public sector partners serving the borough. The building is programmed for completion in summer 2013. BWH was formally known as the Public Service Delivery Hub (PSDH).
Waddon Leisure and Social Housing
CCURV is developing on behalf of Croydon Council and Hyde Housing a district leisure centre and 119 affordable homes (private housing and an education centre will follow in a later phase). Construction started in January 2011 and the project is due for completion in 2012.
Master planning College Green
CCURV has appointed architects Make and Gehl to master plan the regeneration of College Green, working closely with Croydon College, Fairfield Halls and HMS Court Services. The draft master plan will be submitted for public scrutiny later in the year and will be the cornerstone of CCURV's submission to Croydon Council's local development framework consultation.
Davis House
Purchased by CCURV to facilitate the construction of the PSDH, Davis House is actively managed to provide space for Croydon Council and local businesses and is making a return to shareholders in its first year.
