CCURV

The Croydon Council Urban Regeneration vehicle is a 28-year exclusive partnership between Croydon Council and John Laing to regenerate a range of key sites across Croydon borough.

John Laing was appointed Preferred Developer in June 2008 and achieved Commercial Close in November 2008. The partnership involves the pioneering use of an asset backed Urban Regeneration Vehicle (URV) by a local authority. CCURV was set up as a 50:50 partnership, with Croydon Council investing land in the URV and with John Laing investing equity and providing development expertise.

Initially CCURV will be delivering a £450m regeneration of significant sites across Croydon town centre including the new 240,000sq. ft. Bernard Weatherill House (formally the Public Service Delivery Hub).

As part of Croydon Council's ongoing regeneration, CCURV will deliver sustainable facilities to benefit the entire community.

These developments will help achieve the Council's regeneration objectives, unlock land value and deliver development profit to the partnership.
